Millwork Drafter
General Woodworking, an established millwork and commercial casework manufacturer located in Lowell, MA, is currently seeking an experienced draftsperson to produce shop drawings.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the commercial millwork field.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and project specifications preferred

Communicate effectively with team members, including project managers, engineers and production personnel.

Ability to produce detailed shop drawings of millwork and casework using CAD software
-
Specify and order hardware for job production (slides, hinges, pulls, etc.)

Ability to work quickly with a strong attention to detail

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

AutoCAD 2015-2021 experience required

Fabrication and installation experience a plus

Knowledge of AWI Quality and Design Standards a plus

We are seeking production workers to join our team and are willing to train the right candidate for the general shop help.
Positions are M-F 7-3:30 with some Saturday's and overtime required.
Some lifting required.
