General Woodworking has been in the business of producing high quality laminated work-surfaces, counter tops and office furniture components since 1978.

Within our state-of-the-art facility in Lowell, Massachusetts, we are able to produce work-surface tops in your choice of colors and finishes, along with several edging options.  These include 3mm PVC, self-edge laminate, t-mold, post-form in several style options and wood edged.

In 1992, General Woodworking integrated its work surface expertise with metal working and finishing to develop the Phoenix Workstation Bench Line.  Phoenix Workstation Benches are ideal in corporate environments such as manufacturing assembly areas, shipping and receiving and clean rooms.  Whether your needs call out for a pop-up ball transfer workstation bench or an ergonomic, height adjustable test bench, Phoenix has the solution to meet your work bench needs.

We are also a stocking distributor of ergonomic workstation accessories such as articulating keyboard arms, cpu holders, monitor lifts and pull-out storage and keyboard drawers. Whatever your workstation needs might call for, we have the solution to make your environment more worker friendly.

If your needs call for quality built custom casework and cabinets, then General Woodworking has the solution to your storage requirements. Regardless of whether it is one wardrobe storage cabinet or an entire room of built-in casework, we will meet, if not exceed, your company's expectations. In addition, we are able to custom design and build office furniture, desks, pedestals and credenzas to your specifications.

Our customer service and engineering staff are available to help you design, cost and build your unique product. No piece is too complex. Computer Aided Design software automatically links to our CNC cutting and machining centers.  This assures that your product is manufactured to high quality standards at a very cost comparable price.

Depending upon your requirements, our manufacturing lead times usually are under two weeks!
